Surprise, Surprise! ANOTHER new Tide......

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Nah, it's on the site....but that doesn't mean our stores carry it!!

JerseyMike, the one store I have seen (in Jersey, LOL!) are the KMart stores....as you might have noticed, they all seem to be finishing up "renovations", and the three stores I patronize regularly (Closter, Westwood, and Paramus) seem to still have it.

My friend's cousin has the same problem....she likes the Tide Free liquid, because it cleans better than the All Free and Clear, and far better than Purex Free and Clear (Wisk Free is very hard to find....)

Thanks, brisnat81 and oxydolfan1!

Thanks for the tips, I appreciate your help. :-)

Shop Rite in Hoboken and King's in both Hoboken (both locations) and Fort Lee carries both Wisk Free and Clear and Tide Free. (I noticed that Tide Free now comes in a white bottle. It used to have a green cap, which was only slightly different shade of green the green cap on one of their sented versions. It was very easy to pick up the wrong bottle by mistake. That could be a problem for those of us who have no choice but to use a "Free and Clear" detergent.)

Speaking of King's, their customer service people were the ones who flagged to me to the fact that Tide has discontinued Tide Free HE. (I had asked them why they stopped carrying it.) The interesting thing about Tide's website is that they show a picture of a bottle of Tide Free HE, but they don't list it as one of the available "scents and sizes". It's so frustrating! This is not an idle concern, I have psoriasis and it's easily irritated by detergents. To remove as much detergent residue as possible (even the "free and clear" versions) of detergent, I actually pay an additional 25 cents (as I mentioned I have to use coin operated Neptunes) to use the "super wash" cycle, because it includes an extra rinse.

I haven't been to the K-Mart in Jersey City in years. (It's a horrible store.) The K-Mart in North Bergen (which made the Jersey City store look good) closed around the time that the Wal-Mart in Secaucus opened. (I'm not even 100% sure where Wal-Mart is; I think that it's behind the Mill Creek Mall, but since I haven't been there yet, I'm not sure.) I've never seen Tide Free HE at the K-Mart's in the City (Penn Station and Astor Place). I'll have to try to ones in Kearny and/or Belleville. If they don't have it, then I'll try the one in Paramus.

I bought the last four bottles of Tide Free HE at Target in Jersey City. I was going to go to the one in Edgewater, when I went to Pathmark yesterday (they didn't have it either) but since it was Sunday and just about everything in Bergen County was closed thanks to the Blue Laws, I decided to to stay in Hudson County.

Thanks again.

Mike

Fit to be Tide!

WTF indeed!

I don't like any of the new Simple Pleasures fragrances--in fact, I caught hell from my older daughter after I bought the vanilla and lavender Tide (seems she's allergic to lavender)...in fact, we couldn't use Lavender Sachet fabric softener for the same reason...

here are a few more detergent fragrances (?) you won't see or smell anytime soon...

Cuban Corona

Whiskey Sour

Essence of Castrol

Marathon Man Scent

(I started to say "Pine Tree Air Freshener," but that applies to household cleaners!)
