+Same here, anything that is washable goes in the DW. This includes Pet bowls, serving platters, stainless ware, etc.
We hardly ever put dishes in the sink, they go directly in the DW after they are used. When we go to bed at night, we turn the DW on.
We used to use the "Auto Clean" cycle on our new Maytag Jet Clean DW, but have found that "Light Wash" with the "Sanitize" option works just as well and only lasts 86 minutes.
But for burned on food on our frying pans we use the Pot/Pans scrub with Hi Heat option and it all comes out perfectly clean.
