I know that the sweet tea purists will shoot me for this but, I put 9 orange & black pekoe tea bags in the basket of an electric percolator, perc until done, and re-perc until I have a gallon. I then add 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar, and 1/2 cup lemon juice. Refrigerate until ice cold. Yes it does turn cloudy, but it tastes great IMO.

I like iced tea unsweetened or sweetened, and definitely with fresh lemon either way.

But given a choice I'll take a good homemade lemonade over any kind of iced tea.
