Tappan Pilot Assembly

I need a pilot light assembly for a 50's Tappan Gas Stove. Does anyone have one or have any suggestions where to get one? Also, can I retro-fit it with another pilot assembly...for example....like the one on my water heater? They work on the same principle with a safety valve that cuts off the gas supply if the flame goes out and which is also used to "prime" the pilot to re-light it.
