Congrats Terry!

Yeah for Terry, I know you have wanted this one for a while. I have the 64 Sanitronic, and use it in my basement. The Kirby really cleaned up well-The Omaha store is so fun because the employees love to talk vacs, and don't think you are nuts for restoring these machines! Thanks Greg for sharing the pic!

Oh My Greg, it is just beautiful. Hard to believe that is the same machine that we took into the store. He sure did a wonderful job on it. It looks so neat with its headlight gleaming over the Kirby Logo. We were really lucky that Roger had an almost new bag for this machine. Glad that it has the 519 to keep it company. We can only hope for a big litter of these, just wonder what color they will be.LOL Thanks so much for getting this done for me. Terry

LIZBETH!!! I's coming to join yah!

jdinstl gropes at chest, feigning coronary

What a beatiful machine! I've got to know their polishing secret. NOW!!!

In the box that my Sanitronic VII arrived in today, were some "gifts" from the eBay seller. Three Sanitronic-80 attachments! I'm hoping it's an omen! :-) :-)

Just look at that! Terri, I'm jealous! Well, no, not jealous, happy for you and proud for you!

Great work -- Greg, your vac shop might just be worth a drive from St. Louis to Omaha! Wow!

Cheers,

John

Greg.............OMG!...........one of my dream Vacs!

Greg,
Well, I'm pea green with envy.............no wait, that was Scarlett O'Hara in, "Gone With The Wind," but yes, I AM pea green with envy!

That is a fabulous Kirby! And shot beautifully. Can I be your maid? And I do know all about birthin babies as well as the proper care and feeding of Kirbys, espically Dual 80s.

Please bring it to Fred's next month. And Terry, did I tell you I have a birthday coming up and guess what is on the top of my list.................you got it! A dual 80.

Sorry Charlie,LOL Greg got the dual 80 for me and it will be coming to Fred's next month so you are more than welcome to give it a try. Terry

I've never been overly fond of green appliances but have to admit that that machine is simply the nicest looking Kirby I've seen to date.
I also want to know what they use to get that shine.

R u c y ! I`m home!

You would expect to see lucy walk out and start vacuuming! Beautiful work!

Dual 80 anyone

Greetings all...it seems there's quite a bit of interest in the D-80 :)
I've got two, I'm willing to part w/ one. It will need polished, I washed the bag (in the Westy FL,no less:))it runs quite well, no bearing noise. The emblem in the belt-lifter is missing, however, I see there's a buffer for the D-80 on Ebay, also listed for D-80 is hose, original bag and few other attachments.
If one of you guys are interested, lemme know:)
Regards:
Al 8^)

Dual 80's Everywhere

Charlie - Scarlett, whatever you prefer today ;-) -

When I went into the shop yesterday to pick up Terry's Dual 80, there was ANOTHER Dual 80 sitting on the pedestal in the corner. It was all polished, done and waiting for a new home! $189.95 with your choice of the new replacement bag or the original cloth bag. Not sure if there were attachments with it, but it was just as pretty as Terry's. Let me know if you're interested!

Terry,
What a beautiful machine! I was so glad to finally see the finished product. You will love the Dual 80.
Greg-what a great job the vac shop did polishing that. Makes me want to load up my Kirby's and head for Omaha!
Roger

Congratulations Terry!!!

For joining that ever-increasing group of people with beautiful Dual 80s. Great job Greg!

As for you Miss O'Hara, you are forcing me to reveal that I have a Dual 80 with all the attachments (I think) in my basement with your name on it. It is waiting for me to make arrangements for a trip to Cleveland. Just sit still for a while.

Fred
