Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

Thats looks like it was a lot of fun, I wish I was there. My favorite parts were the vacuuming. lol Maybe someday I can get to one of these. I just think its interesting how many washing machine collectors also collect vacuums, and the same for vacuum collectors. We had some very interesting washer conversations at the last VCCC convention. And talking about the convention, I am already so excited to go again, but thats for another thread.

WOOHOO!!! Way to go Jason...you did an AWESOME job on the videos!

I, of course, had fun, but the most important thing was that all of ya'll who traveled a long distance to get here did!!! And it shows it on here!

Well, time to put on the Aquarius record and fire up the 1-18 and Eureka 664A...

Thanks.

I'm using Pinnacle Studio 9 plus and there's a video effect called "Old film" which does what you saw on the second video. Also there's a "Grungelizer" setting which makes your audio sound like a phonograph. The Convention 2005 video was done in Adobe Premiere so if I can't make that work, I'll redo it in Pinnacle.

Pinnacle isn't without its faults. It likes to crash more than I'd like it to so I save often and be careful. Do something weird to the timeline or do too many things at once and it's the "Send Error Report" box for you.

How frustrating! I don't know what was worse...the "Send Error Report" box in XP or the old "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down" box in 95/98!

video

I get a message that says "Cannot create Directshow player" in Win2000 when I try to view the video

As always

Jason,

You did another FAB job on the videos!

Thanks for making me kick my self in the @$$ one more time for not being there! (LOL)

Carol, you were there in spirit and my heart. Kept thinking of you and Whirlcool. And don't be hard on yourself. You will get there jusgt as sure as Frigidaires have great rollover with just about any laundry fed to it.

Austin, we had soo much fun, watchingall the washers again on the video from your house as well as the F&P makes me homesick, can I come home again???

Jason, everyone of your productions never ceases to amaze me and surpasses the prvious ones.

Bob, you know you're welcome anytime!! I'm ready to do another wash-in, and absolutely can't wait until Tuscon next April...YAY!

Greetings from Vegas

Wow, those vids are so cool! I may just mix up another cocktail and watch again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thx!

My favorite scene of the whole movie.

Was Hayley and Clayton watching the Kenmore and the WW frontloader. That's how I got hooked when I was a child.

The "Woodstock" video looks much better (or worse) in person. You can't see the "flicker" or the static in the .wmv version. I'm gonna tweak the audio a little so it's not so annoying to hear, but still very scratchy just like an old record. Or better yet, try to find an old phono and CSNY album and record it direct :-) the real thing is always better than a simulation.

Classic Rock rules!

Great video footage, Jason! It's the next best thing to being there. Many kudos for your time, effort and talents.

I can't help but wonder what unsuspecting people who stumble across these videos at Putfile.com must think of them; "OK, there are washing machines and then a guy who vacuums near the washing machines and there's this trippy music playing..."

Wish I was there again!

Yeah Frigilux, people must think we're followers of Timothy Leary! "Tune out and turn on", I always say! LOL

Jason, mon ami, what a wonderful job (as always)! Loved the crinkled super 8 effects! You brought me back in time to last week! This was so much fun! Steve's agitator dance was the highlight of the videos, but you didn't catch his other dance....the one he did when Hayley put the rubber snake on the laundry shed porch! LOL

Carol: Girl, if you don't make it to the next Texas mini, I'm personally going to trek to Pasadena and whoop ya! LOL Seriously, I'll have Corona waiting for ya!

Thank you to everyone who made the trip, filmed, and joined us in the merriment on the farm! :-)

Looks like this was truly a wonderful event, and I'm glad everyone had a grand time. Ironically, I was in (a much different part of) Texas over the same weekend, attending a holiday party. We had a wonderful time too, but I'm sorry the two events conflicted, particularly since I so need to get to Texas to visit my friends, who have flown all over to see us at conventions and things.

Maybe I'll still work that in sometime this winter, then too perhaps I will see some of you in Arizona this spring as well. That situation seems to be growing by leaps and bounds, with every passing day.

videos

so is there anyone who can walk us unknowledgeable people through the procedure on viewing the videos? Sort of frustrating to keep reading about them and not being able to see them.
