LOL ...

Why Greg, you KNEW all of us have our minds in the gutter.

That's an interesting story. As a technical reports cataloger, I can't tell you how many times "hadron" was mis-spelled "hardon" now get YOUR mind out of the gutter, as it was just a misspelling ... maybe ... perhaps ...

That reminds me of a story: back at Boston University some-40 years ago, a cataloger was fired because anytime she had to catalog Russian literature, she added the subject heading "junk"

Rob.

Well Rob, Sandy

..did you notice the part where a similar project was cancelled here in the States due to cost. Yes, this is a world project but as an American I'm sad we are not leading the world in a project like this. All in all I'm happy to see it's being done somewhere. We need to focus our attentions on more projects like this and move our knowledge base forward instead of fighting wars and having religious arguments. I can't wait to see what is learned from this.

This definitely calls for accuracy at the keyboard or typesetter (do they have those anymore?).

And Rob, I'm 100% in agreement with that BU cataloguer. JUNK! I couldn't even get through the Cliff Notes on "Crime and Punishment." Excuse me while I make a cross sign with my index fingers . . .

Rich, because of where we live, you and I both thought the same thing. But since Greg doesn't live in earthquake country he probably doesn't know how alarming those two words can be to those of us in coastal California.

Yes Ralph,

my frame of reference is from an old pal that used to tell me he was going out (bar hopping of course) to find THE Big One! I put a "Welcome" matt at his bedroom door.

I can't wait to see the results when this is put into operation.
