Water bill
My water bill is why I finally retired my 90 Whirlpool DD washer, that and the trans was getting noisy.
Very happy so far with my Kenmore 28102 but if my combined water sewer bill was closer to something reasonable I'd probably still be using and fixing the DD.
I use a lot less water now and machine cleans great and is very quiet and holds lots of clothes. Sometimes something sentimental like that just needs to be saved to remind us of where we started and family. You could always run the newer ones if you have the room and use the old one when you feel like it. I don't have a basement so no room to store or run multiple machines.
