Beautiful Kitchen

Hey Paul, it's easy to see that a lot of thought was put into that room. Everything goes together so well. I remember seeing these GE Kitchen Centres in the '56 BH&G Decorating book my Mom had, and always liked them. Is the range section 24" or 27" wide on yours? Am thinking I've seen pictures of them where the range was 30" wide.

What a kitchen!!

Now that is a prime example of planning and talent. Just beautiful, and I've never been overly fond of that color. I think it hearkens back to childhood that I like white appliances.

Obviously, you are very talented! When's dinner?

As for cooking with electric, I wouldn't have it any other way!!

A kitchen to cook for...

The layout really is well thought out. I love that refrigerator! Still trying to send positive waves your way to help get the combo fully functional.

Hey there impeller feller

Hey Paul, what a fantabulous everything! BTW, if you haven't already, try Cascade COMPLETE pacs in your glorious dishwasher, not the action pacs which are less potent. The performance will jump up quite a bit. Of course, GE always recommended 150 degree water at the tap. I'd say 140 should do since most machines from that time required 140-160 degree water and today's enzyme detergents can work with "cooler" temps. I always purge the line of all cold water by turning on the hot water at the tap till it is as hot as it will be, but y'all proly do that already. Congrats on a stunning kitchen and set.

Hey Paul

I didn't know you had that MobileMaid. I have the same one. Now that the restaurant is closed, I can start all my projects again. I'll need some help on the Mobile Maid. Are you ever coming to Mass. for a visit ?

MA visit in November

Hey Eddie!
A trip to Cape is still in the cards sometime in November (well, unless I go and find a new job!!).
I love that Coppertone Mobile Maid - the impeller machine I grew up with was a Viking (re-badged Westinghouse) in Coppertone. It clashed wonderfully with the Harvest Gold range and refrigerator in the kitchen... LOL
