I suppose it is to be expected, though it happened much sooner than I thought. The two models that are now listed as "traditional top load" washers have the new agipeller, and neither machine has a manual water level option. I'm glad I still have my WP belt-drive stored in waiting until I have a laundry room to hold both it, the Bravos and the dryer.
I am interested to see how well these machines will perform. I assume that though they are considered traditional, they use HE water levels and roll the load from the center to the outside. They aren't terrible looking machines on the inside, and the vanes on the post of the agitator remind me of the standard straight vane that is usually in the BOL machines WP builds.
Also, check out Maytag's equivalent machines on their website. One of them actually has a horsepower rating for the motor listed in the key features.
