Whirlpool's largest dryer

Didn't Whirlpool make an 8.8 cubic foot dryer for a period of time in the early to mid 2000s?? It had four tumbling vanes and was too big to fit in our house. I looked at them and wanted one but it wouldn't fit. I believe that is the biggest dryer they made.

it's a gas model.

Should have read the title. Wasn't sure if this was a heat pump dryer.

The 1969 whirlpool built supersize dryer

I use the centrifugal Lense separation system that was used in the easy clean 100 dryers from the mid 90s.

I wanted to get rid of the lint filter that was normally on top the machine so I put the separator blower housing in and I put a separate tube that carries the lint through the wall behind the dryer Outdoors. I have not decided what sort of collector to put on this tube right now that that’s just being thrown out into the yard.

I use the separator housing but I did not do the double speed blower with the special motor but it still seems to separate Lyft pretty effectively .

Reply number 21, Hi Geoff I believe you are correct whirlpool actually did build an 8.8 ft.³ dryer. I had forgotten about that. It was a deeper drum than the dryer that I have but probably was a little bigger.
