Does this new GE washer/4250 on the rinse cycle- fill all the way up and agitate- when fabric softener option is chose ?

Oh thats a good question...I wondered about that and the instructions are very vague when I was looking at them. There is the options of 2nd rinse with softener so I wonder if it does a shower rinse and then a deep rinse.
Thanks everyone for the good advice here...I am fine really. Its just hard sometimes dealing with someone that doesnt care about our stuff. But I figure that I can talk til I am blue in the face to my partner about that bozo, but Scott is one to learn the hard way and I am always there to say...I told you so! That I love to do!

Well thats the thing, on the fabric softner setting it seems to do a fill and spin, then you have a some what full rinse. The washer does not fill up all the way to the top. The rinse seems more like a soak with a few short burst of agitation. With the fs turned off it looks like a half fill with the tub spinning then a pause and drain.

My mother recetly bought a G.E and isdisappointed with it. Hers has a rinse & saok the washer only agiates about 10 seconds, the clothes don't even get moved. She stays down the cellar on washday now and turns the washer back to the wash cycle so the clothes can rinse the soap out. i feel bad because I talked her into the GE instead of the Roper she was looking at. She also miss the suds saver. I add an extension th the hose so she can still save the wash water (put back in washer by bucket) and then move the hose to the other tub to drain the rinse water.

tough washers for washer abusers

if you need a tough washer for people with bad, abusive washer habits, try to find a
1980s era small tub franklin built washer-cheaply made, but they seem to be really
tough;with a reliable all metal tranny, good face type tub seal, stout clutch belt,
these seem to survive some nasty abuse that would kill many other washers LOL.
The later,1990s up,bigger tub ones might be pretty tough too.

Well the washer drama just got ratcheted up a notch. The darling tenant works for Sears and works in the mens clothes dept. He has this habit of "having stuff follow him home". Well he did laundry today and forgot to remove the security dye pack o one of the items and it exploded in the washer. So he did his thing and threw said items into the dryer. My washer is a mess and my dryer vanes are a lovely shade of smurf blue. The agitator on my washer is the same color. The stainless steel washbasket has a lovely hue of smurf blue and so does the dryer.
I told my other half tonight what happened and I am relatively calm so I am bleaching out the washer with 2 cups of bleach and I wiped out the dryer. But I told Scott that I have had enough and if I cant fix this mess that was laid on me its not going to be pretty!
