Well, Panthera, I did wonder if you meant...25% literacy or 25% illiteracy. Some days I think it is one, some the other.
Ah yes, South Carolina. Well I have to bring my favorite topic in here...it was the first state to have gun control laws. And what were they for? To keep weapons out of the hands of 'those' people -- yes, the roots of gun control are in institutionalized racism.
Regarding destruction of the country, I'd say there were many 60 year olds advocating destruction of the country.
