Wonder if it will be badged Haier, or Haier/GE, or Haier - Profile.
I mean it's been almost 6 years since the sale and Haier makes good products.

GE transmission
I've noticed that the GE commercial series supposedly has a transmission which is steel driven. Why doesn't the GE profile?

It looks like ge is also launching a bigger capacity 5.4 cubic feet capacity top load also, no specs yet, but seeing the msrp makes me think it's going to have features such as steam, internal heater, and lets hope smartdispense with fabric softener, since samsung is doing auto detergent and fabric softener dosing i'm sure ge will be hoping on the bandwagon. I wonder if it will still be belt driven like their new 5.0 cu ft model or if it will have a rotor/stator direct drive like the gtw860 that i had back in 2013.

smart dispense
I prefer to use both detergent and softener and having smart dispense for both is nice and crucial.
