Chuck i like your shake roof, my brother calls them "architectural shingles", but after viewing your vid, i would say either is appropriate

Actually, they ARE architectural shingles (as opposed to 3-tab). Shakewood is just the color, available in both arch. and 3-tab.

And here's what it looks like now. The back side of the main roof is pretty bad lots of rotten wood. About 7su of plywood will have to go on.

BTW, this picture was taken while the guys were on lunch, which began with Mike (the guy in the vid) taking a dip in the pool. Sorry- no pix of that. Maybe I'll catch him tomorrow!

My new roof was scheduled to begin today. Unfortunately, due to rain, it has been pushed back another day. Maybe tomorrow.
