Thanks to Jeff Masoner and John LeFever I now have a top of the line 1972 Westinghouse 40 inch..two oven self cleaning range in my kitchen! My camera is dead but I will try to get some pictures up soon, its the first stove I ever found heavier than the Norge!

Probably will be!!

A long term resident, I really missed a 40 inch range, although both the 30 inch Frigidaires are great, I will never part with them, but I do really like this WH, its insulated so well it stays perfectly cool on the outside when the oven is on, and its pretty...I will post some pics as soon as I can.

Westinghouse made

some great ranges back in the day. I lived in three different apartments in my twenties, and used GE, Whirlpool, and Westy's. They may have been the least attractive to my eyes (except for Kevin's terrace top), but it's oven performed the best of all of them.
I bought a top of the line Magic Chef in 1988 for my first house. What a disappointment. Tiny gas burners took forever to boil a stock pot of water.
