I’ll probably be able to get one of these working,

Hey guys, so on Sunday I’m gonna be picking up another Thor Automagic so I’ll be pretty happy about that as of the one that I currently have got damaged in transit, I’m gonna make sure to probably bring some blankets and stuff like that to put between the inner and outer drums to prevent the internal from getting knocked about and breaking like the first one did

If it's not stuck in the machine, remove the basket and the balancer ring. It will make transport much easier.

Keep me posted!
Yeah, that’s something I think I’ll definitely do, as I know from the first one that there was a crack in something mechanical with the first one that I brought probably because I did not remove the drum and agitator do you know if there’s a way that I could stabilise the agitator shaft and spin tube? That way it won’t knock around or get damaged by the vibrations, granted I’ll have to actually lay it down as it’ll be transported in my Mom’s SUV.

Well done, that should scrub up very nice, see if the front panel is kicking around when you go to collect it :)
Cheers
Keith
Thank you, I know for a fact that I do actually have a front panel from my other thor that got damaged during transit so I should have a reasonable supply of spare parts excluding the seal that sits and joins up to the spin tube/agitator shaft and is absolutely necessary to have that seal in place and if so would there be anyone who could do a reproduction or find it as a spare part?

Let me have a rummage - I have 3 Thor’s at present and yes the boot gasket that seals the outer tub to the spin tube is vital to prevent leaks.
Cheers
Okay let me know how it goes having a look if you have a spare, and I think maybe we should get the same person who did those 118 ring things for their machines to probably do a reproduction of that seal
Generally, what are the things I should probably look out for? And Should I try to secure the transmission and Motor that way it doesn’t knock on the external cabinet of the machine where it comes through into the outer tub?
