Hello to all aw members,

I can say that with cold season and allergy seasons this is a time of the year where i wish i had the option to use hot water for the main wash at least for bedsheets with a warm rinse and a warm water wash with a warm rinse option for regular clothes sigh why did washing machine manufacturers took the option to have a hot water wash warm rinse option from us consumers buying the washers sames go for warm water wash warm rinse option, sure i can understand about energy star factor but why did the goverment have to put such strict rules about this who would love a top load washer or front load washer to offer a hot wash warm rinse option including warm i right now sure wish i had this option. credit to aldspin boy for the use of is picture

I don't think there is anyone out there that is happy with current temperature selections on todays machines.
I can understand having ATC features on machine that help adjust severe cold levels up to a more desirable level or adjusting warm so that it is WARM not a barely tepid cool!
But when I want HOT water....I like to see steam coming up from around the lid as it fills the tub, or a nice billow of steam when I open the lid (TL)or door (FL).

BRING OUR TEMPS BACK THE WAY WE WANT THEM. but the only way you can really get that these days now is if you use a wringer and fill the tub yourself or have a vintage machine that doesn't have ATC features.

I have a speed queen washer, and I had my plumber create a hook coming out of my hot and cold water inlets to create a warm rinse and very warm wash. I can adjust the warm water to come in however I wish by turning the bkack lever on the garden y attached to my hot water inlet. The gold piece attachment on the cold water side is a back flow preventer. I attached pictures to show how it's done instead of trying to describe it.

Funny, I don't know how that first picture got there. That's not my washing machine. That's from the first post.
