To stack, or not to stack

Hey guys, I’ve got a question for you all, is it okay to stack Front loading washing machine is on top of each other I’m just a little bit concerned that’s all, I don’t own enough front loaders to stack but I was slightly concerned about some other people’s collections, even though it’s probably not my business to comment I was just curious about everybody’s opinion on whether you should or should not

Stacking FL Washers On Top Of Each Other

I suspect it is not a good idea to have the washer on top, even if bolted together if the top washer takes off with an-unbalanced load I can seethe whole thing falling over, I have never seen any manufacturer recommend doing this.

Definitely a no. I've read it in a manual in the past, but also noticed that collectors with a big collection like Maturasigma (see his videos on Youtube) don't do it. I know of one collector who put some very sturdy shelving above the bottom row of his collection. It's in the back room in this video.



If anyone is trying this, I will be sitting ready to watch the video of it. ;-)

I actually love that idea,

Although I feel like you would have to bolt The The shelving deep down into the concrete or something like that so that way it doesn’t wander with the other 101 washing machines

I don't know how Raimund did it, but I'm sure he did a good job with that shelving. The washing machines in the top row didn't rock it when I visited him.
