I’ve seen this Westinghouse washer ad before, but never noticed that the two cycles both have two rinses — not offering it as an option for a second rinse like most other machines. Not only adding time to the cycle, but here in the drought-stricken West, I shudder to think how much water it uses with two rinses!

These were well styled pretty machines, unfortunately that's pretty much where it ended, they were just average performers at best and one of the least reliable and most expensive machines to repair of the 70s.

Hi Todd, the first rinse is just a spray rinse like MT.

That spray rinse is the longet I've ever seen. Between 1 & 2 minutes long. Todd, the few times I've seen one of these at wash-ins, I never noticed an additional rinse needed. Also keep in mind that Normal cycle was used for most laundry, including Perm Press, and needed the extended spray rinse as a cool down.
