Can someone tell me more precisely the production date of my dishwasher?

I'm a bit confused with the model numbers and corresponding production/model years...

 

I have a manual at home that covers the DW ITR and DW CITR models and it says "1970" in big fonts on the front cover.

Was this letter used in multiple years?

 

However, the link below to one of Mark Michael's auction says the "R" line is for 1971. Was this letter used in multiple years?

 

My Avocado green Custom Imperial dishwasher's model is "DW JMP" and according to my documents, it should be from 1969 and on Mark's listing, it says the "P" line is 1970. 

 

 

Can someone explain me?

I think the REAL story is that Paul found it and brought it home but Hubby said "OUT" so a gift it became... LOL!

That is a snazzy looking dishwasher. Was there any kind of sound insulation to quiet it or is it noisy like the built in's I've encountered?

I think he had talked to Hubby about bringing it home... But just until I could grab it!

I don't think he even thought about keeping it as he already has a few other projects! But finally, he didn't have to bring it home as I couldn't wait to get it so we got it at the seller's place! And I figured it would be easier for him this way too!
