well like i said when one comes in one must leave.. soon the frigidaires will go to their new home but in their place i found that youngstown dishwasher, and i finally have my first pink appliance.. the guy took it apart when he removed it from his kitchen but sent along all the parts. lots of dust and rotten hoses but what a fun project for me.. what a cool machine. and i had no idea that the front of the machine was enamel and not paint..im lovin it

all seems good

well i guess for a 50 year old machine its in real good shape
the racks are still fine no rust the tub feels good too.. just can see where it had leaked from rotten hoses and need to clean it up and reinstall the motor should be fun

Wonderful find Chris, that's my dishwasher too. I use mine almost every day and love it. That's a 1957 model you have there, the only difference between the 1956 and 1957 is the strip of color under the handle. In '56 it was a pinkish/copper, in '57 it was white.
