Eddie here's one we have, never used, TOL cooktop ca. around 1979:

It'll go in our retirement house along with a GE JK-29 double oven:

OK so the question I have to ask is how did they work the sensi-temp control since the dial is in the range hood? Clearly it isn't a hydraulic thermostat. Was the element cycled from the hood or from the cooktop side of things?
