1960-61 models looked like this.

Not 61. I have that in turquoise. It was the only year for linear controls for the Cookmaster. 1960 had all round clocks and excessive filagree on the storage drawer. My range has a raised-pattern aluminum front on the storage drawer, brass-tone minute timer dial and copper color oven controls. This range is way glamed-down from the 61 and by 63 the surface unit switches were just dials so I would guess 62.

My mistake

1962 sounds right. I am very familiar with the 1959 and 1964 designs and I knew it was in the middle.

What year did Frigidaire restyle their ranges? I know it was '65 or before, as one of my neighbors had a 30" in white, and another a 40" in Turquoise. Both were the later style.

You're right Tom,

I forgot that regular ranges, unlike Flairs got restyled every year. Flairs got the 1960 styling until early 1962 (at least here in Canada as mine is a RCIB-645C from early 1962) and the 1963 models kept the updated styling of 1962.

So your range is like this one?
