Pretty Pair

Probably 1965 or 66, these are almost as fully featured as our 1964 Imperial mark 12 pair that we have at the museum.

 

Someone should grab these, unfortunately Paul is hiding out in Paris.

Would love to see close-ups of the controls.  Is either a pushbutton, lock-set timer or has pushbutton water temp *and* speeds (3-speed motor).  May be a suds-saver if not a pushbutton timer, via the button at top of the timer legend (otherwise that button may be a "Manual Dial" to release the locking pins).

Glenn, it's the former--like a LK--push a button, turn dial until it stops, and start machine.

Interesting that a pushbutton timer in that model-year line isn't restricted to only the TOL Imperial Mark XII.  What are the feature differences?

Mom got that exact machine in 1963.

The dryer is electric, it does not have a removable lower front panel like a gas model would have.

 

The washer would just have a 2 speed motor, in this time period only the Imperial Mark 12 got a 3 speed motor.
