Congratulations! I don't think you could have asked for a nicer set of Maytags. They certainly appear to have been gently used! Keep us posted about how they run (but I am guessing they'll be just fine!!).

The only flaw that I can see IMO is that the washer isn't an 806s. Otherwise I'd make ya' an offer. Gotta love those suds-savers!

For me, it has to have a suds-saver, this machine doesn't, hence the "s" after the model no. in my earlier post. Beautiful nonetheless.

It's amazing what perfectly good stuff people stupidly get rid of. America really needs to get out of its "everything's disposable" mentality and wasteful spending on junk.
Bet those Maytags were replaced by some new, eco-type crap washer that will last all of three years, if even that, with multiple service calls throughout.

It's a disgrace that quality,class,and pride has just gone out the door on all of our products here in America. And it's all done in to be "politically correct". Here's what I don't understand, they say that our old top loaders like the 806 Maytags, were wasting energy, and water. How can that be? If you can have your laundry cleaned in just 3 loads in an 806, or other traditional top loaders, where it would take 5, or 6 loads in these small eco front loaders, that's using more water, and energy in those so called eco friendly machines.
Also, they aren't made that well, which means more repair calls, and we know that they are not cheap. Oh well, Ben, I hope they will give you good years of service. Have a nice day.
