Philips

I have that icemaker! It was Philips' first icemaker IIRC. Mine was only 5 euros in a thriftstore.

That toaster is a Philips classic, indeed from the seventies, probably late seventies when everything was brown. My brother and SIL got the chrome version as a gift on their wedding in 1978. It had some orange accents as well.

Vacbear, re; mixer taps

Ok, I may have only seen more photos then of separate taps, as opposed to ones in Germany for example, which always seem to be mixers.
The old house we lived in when I was 6 had separate ones only on the bathroom basin.
Of course, even those are better than a well pump or stand pipe behind or in front of the back to back tenaments, or terrace houses.
My dad grew up without hot water in the house. They had to heat it all on the wood stove in the kitchen until after the war. They also had outhouses until then.
They converted their pantries to bathrooms after the war, and natural gas came in, so also gas forced air heat. Today most of those houses the second to last generation bought from the coal mine company are owned by the grand children, and even have central air conditioning.
