In the early 1970s the Baby Belling got a complete revamp, in the process becoming a completely functioning mini cooker. Apart from moving to solid plates in the last few years it has hardly changed since that time. It can operate of one 13Amp socket - 2 plates, smaller plate & oven, smaller plate & grill

That Osterizer blender might be worth getting. Depends on the wattage (IIRC they vary in the range between 300 Watts and 1100 Watts or so) and the state it is in.

Yes, Vacbear I figured the Ronan Point explosion was a gas leak, and I knew she took her old stove to her new place. No council houses were built with gas after that.
But what are those pipes out the sides? They look too narrow to be the gas connection. Ours here are as wide as a washing machine hose.
High density housing here in the states has mainly been a failure, and I'm not an advocate for it.
Except for NY city, where so many live in high rises, rich and others alike, they know how to manage them as they are private. Even Styuvesent village, which looks like a public housing project, but never was.
Chicago's and Detroit's are all memories to the wrecking balls by now.
