Thanks for the tip about the dishwasher - it's a Bosch 800 series. I'll have to double check the specs.

Went paint and tile hunting today. The tile store is overwhelming! So many beautiful options!

What are you going to do with your old appliances? There is a Habitat for Humanity Re-store in Danbury that you can donate them to. They look like they are in great condition. Where did you buy your new appliances? Appliance Sales Plus?

I've looked into Habitat - there's another ReStore in Newburgh. We have a friend up in Dutchess County that works with them. I'm going to see if they would be interested.

ConEd has a recycling program for the fridge - they will pay to come get it.

Hope that they find good homes!

I remember when that style of cabinets came out - so modern. Raising the cabinet height to the ceiling will make the room feel 10 feet tall. Is the new refrigerator a counter-depth model?
