Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

I think these were built in, much like Frigidaire had fold down cook tops (and then you would have a totally separate wall oven), only in this case the wall oven would be built in, and the cook tops folded onto the adjoining counter. There have been a few of these posted here over the years, but they are a very rare find. And this one looks to be in very nice shape!

Oh..... soooo tempting!   John (combo52) has one of these in the museum I think.  I was there when Tim (macboy91) brought it up there.  Very, very cool unit.

Wondeful design. And it has a rotisserie!!!

When I worked at Elgot(an appliance/air conditioner store in Manhattan), I remember one of the old-timers there telling me that GE used Hotpoint as a division for a lot of experimental products. This oven/stove is a wonderful idea, but I can see how it would have had very little appeal to the average housewife back in the day. It would have been a brilliant tool for catering, I agree. I would love to get this for a friend of mine, but it's not likely to happen.
