GM FD Dryer

This is just a late 70s model, they had a matching washer as well.

 

GM FD straightened out the drum roller design problems on these later models so it should be a little better dryer than the earlier models.

Frigidaire DES-9 / DES-9B 1-18 dryer

I love these panels. 1977-1978 model - one of the last! First sign of life for this panel was a parts supplement update in Feb '76.

This replaced the previous Imperial DI/DIA models, with the washer also having a window lid.

The rest of you can have the rapid advance models, I'll take these.

Initially, I didn't like this console style, but it grew on me. Particularly as I realized the graphics contrast would be much easier for me to read in real life.

I have that very same washer but with the lighted console at the botton. What year is yours? I need the lint filter though, mines cracked pretty bad.
