Seamus and Marty, love those Juniors! I have the gold U1025 as well (shown here next to a 1989 "KMart Eureka" model 630D), but it's not as mint as yours! One thing I like about the Juniors is that they have horizontal motors and fans; clean as well or better than their full-sized cousins in my opinion! I'm still out to find a set of tools for mine, I know they're out there!
When was this particular model made? I'm guessing mid-70's, like around 1975? And was the DirtSearcher model ever introduced to the US?
Btw, I like that top-fill bag adapter. Such ingenuity, simply turning a Type C bag upside-down! I had to replace the bellows that connected to the fill tube on mine, as it somehow became melted if you can believe that! Luckily I found one NIB at a vacuum shop in Houston. Didn't notice it until I used the machine for the first time and it leaked dust all over the place!
