The jukeboxes came from a gentlemen that had them for about 10 years. He and his wife were downsizing to a townhouse and needed to sell them. I had contacted him about a month prior to the vacation. We chatted for awhile, and he said he would hold them for me(a rare Craigslist seller). Since they wouldn't fit in my van standing up, I had my dad(in Minnesota) purchase a trailer for me. Once we got there to Minnesota, we towed the trailer to where the Jukeboxes were. Since it was an open trailer and we had about 1700 miles to travel back home, we figured we might run into some rain(and boy did we). So first we wrapped the black one with a foam mattress pad, and then a comforter. We put that at the front of the trailer and strapped it down. The green one we wrapped that with two comforters and up against the black one it went. Both strapped down. Plastic sheet over both of them and then for good measure we threw a tarp over that. Needless to say, they arrived home with no issues.
We picked up some other things, and I brought home some more radios, that were being stored at my dad's. I need to clean them up first.
