Well I should have known the deal I was getting on the Bodum vacuum coffee maker was to good to be true. I ordered it around July 11th from Homeclick.com and they estimated shipment around August 1st. After I had to contact them three times to get an update after August 1st I was informed they no longer carry that model 
It was the 10 cup in orange which was a great deal (under $50 including shipping).
Since we do not make a huge amount of coffee at home we went with an 8 cup Bodum thermal french press. I was able to get it on eBay for $40 including shipping. Makes great coffee, although I probably would have gone with the 12 cup version as the 8 cup is not that large.
