Hi all!
I just inherited this General Electric Wringer Washer from my late grandfather. I'm the only antique geek in the family so I got a lot of items, but I don't think I will be keeping this particular piece.
I'm looking for your help in identifying the approximate value (along with any other details) to help me rehome this lovely piece of machinery.
Thanks in advance!!

looks to be in rather decent shape for a VINTAGE machine....

other factors that may hint pricing....

most important, Does it WORK!....hold water?...wringers and agitation functioning?....broken cord/hose....

you may see people listing prices like they have a gold mine....

in reality, anything is only worth what someone is willing to pay.....

most wringers go for 50 to 100 dollars....

most times you can find them at yard sales for 25.00 or less....

'scrap value' on a very good day is around $5.00....

we have seen/heard it all......if you dont have electricity or running water at your place, or have not tested it, or it worked the last time it was used 30+ years ago....see 'scrap value'

Value Of Antique Appliances

Is what someone is willing to pay.

Some wringer washers will sell for $$$ others can't be given away at any price. This goes for many other vintage appliances as well.

For large appliances such as ranges, washers, fridges, dryers, dishwashers, etc... you have to factor local market. Unless you're willing to accept some sort of online payment or make other arrangements, sales will depend upon interest in local area.

As already noted much will depend upon condition. Does it work? Condition of finish, etc... GE stopped making wringer washers quite early on so spares may not be easy to lay hands upon.
