Ever since we bought our Whirlpool built Maytag dryer 8 years ago, it's made a very strange sound when the heating element kicks on. I'm going to do my best to describe it, It makes a constant loud mouse-like squeak and is high pitched. It never does this on the air fluff cycle only the heat cycles and when the heating element kicks on. The sound is either constant or the pitch will get higher and go away. This sounds electrical and not mechanical. I remember our old electric stove made this exact same sound before the element popped. This dryer is electric (240v). The model for the dryer is YMED5600TQ0. Any ideas?

My thoughts are it's the metal supports and surrounding metal expanding from the heat and some places are not securely attached so there is slight movement. The result is the "squeak".
