The Pig

The front of the car always looked like a squint eyed pig to me. And a hog lived under the hood...a 500 cubic inch fuel injected engine. I think with todays fuel prices it would cost about forty dollars to fill this baby up!

And the back end too.

I alway's registered the cars in CA. where I had bought them. The DMV would bill me for the sticker, wave the smog test,as they knew the car was in IN,and send me the sticker, after I sent them a check. We did it that way for 19 years. That way the car still had the CA. title when I sold it. They were easier to sell that way. The car had the original plates for 1976 still on it. In CA the plates stay with the car. The stack of renewal stickers on the plate was quite thick on this one.

And then eBay came along.....

And I was tired of the car.... Sooooo, now it lives in the State of Georgia, with a proud new owner!! (without my CA plates, that now hang in my garage)

Did I miss it??

HECK NO!! Because a couple of weeks before I sold the Eldo, something new had came my way,in the middle of the night of course....

A 1955 CPDVL

And the driver almost lost it,getting it down!! He forgot this model didn't have "park"
The skirts and caps were safe in the trunk.
