Sylvania 1964

I think the company that did the artwork for the Hamilton dryer ad in part IV and the Sylvania ad in this part probably was the same company. North Central Airlines used the same too when I started with them in 1973. It was modern and appropriate for the times.

And the company that did the Bendix advert probably also did the Lysol "marriage difficulties" adverts. Same style art and information.

In part 4 i like the ad for the freezer that looked like an easy twin basket. have never seen or heard of this freezer before. were there 2 freezers in unit. looks like it in the ad, or maybe it was a refrig in the other section? probably not cause of stacking issue in refrig versus freezer. very cool ads learning and seeing alot. thanks for the postings.
Jon

The Deepfreeze...

I've never heard of it either. I think the compressor was in the center section, and both round sections were freezers. And you're welcome Jon.

Thanks for putting up all these television adverts, they go hand in hand with the current color TV in the 60's and earlier thread.

I really enjoy old ads no matter what the subject. Thank you for taking the time to put them up.
