The LADY KENMORE Dryer ad, featuring Wife of Dave Brubeck of

Wonder if there's a similar ad for a Kenmore or Lady Kenmore WASHER? If so, who's the celebrity?

I have a couple magazines on which the Sears appliances are a Side X Side Coldspot refrigerator, in avocado (of which it has FOUR doors & the freezer is capable of turning into more refrigerator space) featuring actress Meredith Baxter-Birney...

And a double oven (over/under design) electric range in copper, featuring Pauline Trigerre (home designer)...

These ads also began w/ "Why did ______ buy a ______ from SEARS when she could afford just about ANY _____ ?" etc.

Uh, Pauline Trigere

was NOT a "home designer," she was an excellent fashion designer. She actually cut patterns while draping her models with the very fabrics she used, often fabrics costing several hundred dollars a yard.

I remember a Sears ad featuring writer/humorist Jean Kerr.

Further up, there is an Air King/CBS Columbia Color TV. Isn't that the one that uses the mechanical color system with a wheel spinning in front of the picture tube?
