Tappan Microwave range
The MWO power-pac was under the main conventional oven, so there was a cooling fan the magnetron, transformer etc.
The MW energy was channeled up the back to the MWO cavity above the CT. The only one of these I ever saw was out at the Aberdeen Farm in SD, but we left it there as it had been outside in the elements for 10-20 years. I would love to find one of these in better condition.
I am guessing late 60s, does anyone know a closer date for this Tappan ad ?

The Tappan ad says 1966, and I have a magazine containing such ad, and I do believe it to be from that year.

Cool Tom now we just have to find one of these ranges for the Microwave kitchen at our museum.
I have a Tappan MW wall oven in the house in W Va from about 1968 that is really a cool piece of engineering and works great.
