What a treat!

These ads are fantastic, and a great read. Thanks for posting 'em!

The ad for the 1947 Frigidaire range is dear to me, for my grandmother had a similar model (I think that her's was bought in 1949). She baked for the farmers' market (known here as the "curb market"), and really relied on the double ovens. I'll never forget her bread and warm cinnamon sticky rolls!

Any chance of posting an ad for a 1959 or 1960 Norge electric range? My parents bought one when I was a toddler (hence my not being able to recall the exact year), and it served well up through 2008, when I sold their house. The new owners used it until last year, when they remodeled the kitchen.

I really enjoy these posts.

Thanks Again!!

I can't remember who posted all the great vintage ads. I've only looked at a third of them. This will be part of my fun this weekend. Is going through them and studying all the details of each appliance.

thank you thank you thank you

I had almost forgotten all about those fantastic Kelvinator refrigerators with the designer fronts. Western Appliance where I worked as a kid had almost every one of those on the sales floor. I distinctly remember that small fridge with the spotted horse fur (it was "real" synthetic fur, not painted on,) the model with the carriage lanterns (there was a Foodarama like that too) and my favorite, the Chinese Red Foodarama with the dragons...it really made a statement! I'm going to use that photo as a desktop backround for both of my computers to remind me of my happy childhood...about 100 years ago :-(

Joe (Twintubdexter) I'm very glad you liked them, and thanks for the info on the Kelvinators!

Mike, I started Part Two. I know some experience load time lag due to their bandwith. I'm not sure what else can be done in order for this not to be buried. Perhaps Robert can make it a sticky?
