My neighbors on the next street over had the GE Wildcat phono shown in reply #89. I remember hearing the record "Henry VIII" by Herman' Hermits many times on it (the older daughters favorite record at the time).

The 1941 GE radio above is really nice looking.

Ultramatic - Louie, that GE floor console model that CircleW mentioned...did you notice the gizmo in the back? It seems to be an antenna with a bling name. I've never seen that before. It seems there are more Zenith and other sets of this era, too. Cool find, Louie.

Thanks Louie. I checked it out. The man can put you to sleep. But at least I learned something and it was interesting - did not know that there were two antennas inside and it is rotatable. Pretty cool.
