OK, this is a first:  I made a recipe before you posted the ad, LOL.  Made  Scotcharoos a few nights ago and took them to my downstairs neighbor and his son.

 

I am not an oyster person, but may have to spring for some and try the Chesapeake Pudding.  Maybe they'll go down easier mixed in with other things.  Have heard that oysters even go in Thanksgiving stuffing out east.

Always welcomed Eugene! I seem to remember my aunt making Scotcharoos long ago in the 70's.

 

And yes, they do use oysters in the stuffing for turkeys in the northeast. Not my cup of tea at all.
