I have been keeping my eye on that GE Americana for awhile. It's been listed for a long time. It's a few hours away from me. But $300...just to much for me right now. I've asked seller for pics of the inside. No response. I love the design. And that gold speckled Formica....aaaaaahhhhh. What would be a fair price for this if all is in order, do you think?

Price range on a good Americana...

Seems to be in the $350-$450 range from the few decent ones I've seen for sale. Do they SELL at that price? Not sure...but they are scarce, so $300 is not horrible for that one (I don't think). Especially in white!

I'm with Allen on this. $300 isn't bad. I paid $200 for mine(from friends of mine) several years back. Mine is a coppertone brown. I don't think the $300 is out of line. You could always go see it and offer them less for it. Wave the cash in front of them. Money talks.
