One oven, two drawers ...no oven views (! ).....

" This classic harvest gold vintage 70's double oven range is extremely handy! The double oven are really a great addition to your kitchen appliances. There are two drawers below, with plenty of storage for your pots and pans.

Both ovens and all burners work. The stove is fully functional.

Measures 40" long x 25" wide.

Pick up only, located in West Seattle. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! "

Very nice stove-

Nice GE 40" stove. especially that it's fully functional.
Wonder if it has all the accessories with it.

And what is it with all these 40" stoves showing up lately for sale? This is think the third one I've seen of this model all within the past week or two. There's also been a lot of other 40" models up for grabs lately.

That's....

....A very nice range. So nice, in fact, that I'd almost be tempted to overlook the Harvest Gold.

Nah. If I did that, I'd have to get rid of all my Cornflower Corning Ware and get Spice O'Life instead....

Thank Bonneville Power for all of these electric ranges in the Pacific NW. Someone who worked for OMB said that they could not even get Bonneville to raise their rates enough to bring in enough money to pay off the loans for building the dams. Members of Congress would vote down anything like that. It was a cushy ride at everyone else's expense.

Cornflower Corning Ware and get Spice O'Life instead....

Naa. The blue cornflower shade is a very nice complement accent color. "Yellow & blue make green". I think it would look terrific with that shade of yellow. Spice of life would be too "bizzy". Oh Gawd, I can hear my mom saying all this from all her interior decorating classes.

Bob:

The idea behind Spice O'Life was specifically to coordinate with Harvest, Avocado and Coppertone appliances; green, brown and gold are all represented in the design.

While Corning tried to serve Harvest, Avocado and Coppertone owners individually with Corelle, offering Butterfly Gold to Harvest owners, Spring Blossom Green to those with Avocado and Woodland Brown to the Coppertone crowd, that wasn't going to work with cookware, which is harder to stock, due to bulk and shipping weight.

Spice O'Life was an enormous seller, both in the genuine Corning Ware and Pyrex products, and the host of knock-offs in every material under the sun. KMart had Spice O'Life everything, including garbage cans.

Your Mom must have been a very good decorator, because making Harvest work with blue would take some skill. I am not being sarcastic, it could work. But you'd have to know what you were doing.
