The Corvette will always be my pride and joy. Now I just gotta get this set finished up and in the laundry room! My laundry room is tiny and very hard to get machines in and out of, so I want to make sure I restore them right before they go back in. I just stand and stare at them sitting in my garage. Is there a way I can trick the washer and fill/run it in my driveway before I put it in the room?

You can fill it with a garden hose. Just start the washer as normal and it will of course try to fill. Fill it with a garden hose until it satisfies the water level control and it will start to wash. You, of course, can also put a 'Y' connector on your garden hose and attach the two fill hoses to it and the washer will act normally and fill by itself.

Kill two birds with one stone. When it drains, just aim the drain hose at the vette and hose it off... LOL!

Good idea, Drew... I could wash the Vette and clothes at the same time! Instead of "killing 2 birds with one stone," it would be "washing 2 birds with one hose..."

One thing to remember when "warshing" in the driveway - you will need a makeshift/temporary standpipe for the drain hose or the tub will drain.
