I guess I just look at it from the "average" persons point of view. Most of these ended up (and continue to end up) in the dump with no profit made.
Most, if not all of the appliances, WILL need work to get them functioning properly, reliably, and safely. Lets not mention the time and $ just to locate parts alone! That's big task to take on as far as $ and time are concerned.
Depending on their condition, everything may need to be blasted and repainted if you want them to look close to perfection. LOTS of time and $ involved, especailly when you add to the cost of the units + shipping.
As far as getting everything to fit and function correctly in a kitchen, you'd have to BUILD a kitchen around this entire setup. There goes even more time and $$. Most kitchens I've been in wouldn't even begin to have enough space to house everything in that auction.
But, for those who have hardcore determination to get all of the above to worked out, the end result would be one hell of a nice retro kitchen!!
