It looks like the panel on the right slides; my guess is they're under there.

I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering, what is behind "Door...number....ONE!" People are inherently..never mind, we covered this subject, ad nauseam before.

The washer is the same model my Aunt Nat had replaced her Space Mates with.VB the panel has a sliding cover and the cycles are lettered depending on the program selected. Orange Super Roto Swirl agitator with scrub - brush,measuring cup cap. Automatic bleach and fabric softener dispensers. Same color too.
I had the matching dryer to this decades ago, could never find a matching washer....major simple to operate, select a number, and press start.....perfect results every time.....with the electronics, you mostly left it on number 2, just load and press start over and over.....it can't get any easier than that....

The first match all dryer had the thinner control panel area. When they made the washer to go with the dryer because the look of the dryer was so popular, they had to make the control pod area thicker for the washer timer. Seems strange to have the match all washer and not the dryer, but maybe they got a deal on it.
I too had the original dryer like this and kept the control set in the middle at 3. The only problem was that when I moved, the dryer was in the basement and I could not hear the signal for Permanent Press and there was no Wrinkle Guard(TM). A baby monitor was the solution to the problem. It was amazingly fast with electric soft heat because only the large element cycled so the temperature did not fluctuate as much during drying. New dryers with thermisters are very fast because the thermister is much more responsive than old metal disc thermostats that had a 20-30 degree swing between open and close and held a lot of heat themselves.

It looks like a Kenmore washer for sure, but the dryer is a Whirlpool without any sliding panel.
