Vintage Wringer Washer - Start Laughing

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

not so far fetched as you would believe.....

there are a number of shops that do detailing as mentioned, I was surprised to see a wringer in the garage for that exact reason.....

it will fit the bill for someone.....although maybe not at that price, you could get an electric wringer for that same price.....

I could actually use something like that when I wash the car and truck to get the water out of the chamois. Too bad it isn't close. I wouldn't want to pay $50, though.

Folks will try to sell their grandmothers grave if they thought it would render change in their pockets.  Wonder how many fools believe this is a wringer washer.  Also, is the poking stick included> question for the seller!  LOL

Oh gawd!

Where was the Funt and Mundane country pad?
Very hilarious Carols little entourage is. My all time favorites though are "went with the wind", Wiggins, and their Mildred Pierce parity.

Beats me,

but chimneys was about all that was left of Terra plantation.
Did they do Cat on a hot tin roof parity?
"Well go jump then"! Jump where, into what?
From and old Liz Taylor interview:
"My life has been disapointments after hardships and tragic illnesses."

According to my best friend's mom her parents were the Lunt's neighbors there (at Ten Chimneys), though that might just have meant "same town" or nearby - her family is from Waukesha originally so no shock there.

I can't remember if it was Joan "wire hanger" Crawford or Carol "raspberries" Channing who said that Ten Chimneys was the "most restful place" they had ever been. It's in one of their books...

It's restfull

and very nice. I meant parody, not parity. Joan's Brentwood house was also restfull, when there weren't hangers being swung. Ironic her interior taste was art deco, with a colonial exterior style though. I loved the all blue tile bathroom. Since I don't live near an ocean, I have some Catania blue tiles in my bathroom shower for accent. My hubby chose the cashmere grey fixtures. It's grey here 8 to 9 months of the year, but they look nice together, with lighter shower wall tiles, a faux wood plank porcelain tile floor in different hues, greys, oaks, cherry's, even some shaded ocean green, pulling from the Catania tiles. Russet cherry cabinetry, topped by a mountain stone quartz 36 inch high counter. I used more Catania blue and light grey in the back splash tiles. Brushed nickel Kohler Toobi faucets and towel bars. Simple, yet elegant. San Succi comfort height throne. Cast iron Salient shower receptor. The wall paint is an off whitish greyish blue called drizzle.
Pickfair was also restfull in aesthetics.

Joan did NOT do her own decor - trust me on this one. This is who did her interiors for the rest of her life (and you can find him and his partner in her wedding photos, which were even re-created even though he wasn't included in Mommie Dearest).
