No modern machine is really, except maybe Speed Queen but even Speed Queen is slowly going downhill.
You can sell it if it works, you can sell it for cheaper if it has dings and scratches on it, has a bad bearing, etc.
These VMWs with the washplates seem to have better suspension rods than the ones with the porcelain coated drum and agitator, the washplate VMWs with the bigger drums (4.2 to 4.3 cu ft) are kind of exceptions to this.
My brother has the Whirlpool WTW4800XQ4 washer with agitator, and it needed suspension rods and it needs them again because the aftermarket rods he installed failed in a few months and when I visited I saw the washer shake violently. Bearings also noisy on that machine.
